General Session:  Employer Tax Issues

This session will discuss remote workplace issues that have assumed greater importance during the pandemic.   The speakers will address employee fringe benefit issues such as the provision of office equipment for home offices and reimbursement of safe commuting expenses.  In addition,  state tax issues related to the remote workplace such as nexus, apportionment, sourcing, and withholding  will be reviewed.  The panel will include a dialogue on managing an insurance company tax department during the pandemic.
